At one glanceSituated between 1250 and 2800 metres above sea level, the area is known only to a few connoisseurs as an ideal place for both winter and summer holidays. It is also one of the centres of the Romansh language, its culture and tradition.
Lower Engadine’s climate is a mild, sub-alpine, stimulating climate with clean, dry air, a low degree of cloudiness, and a lot of sunshine.
In winter out and about with a pair of downhill or cross-country skis, a snowboard, on beautiful winter walking paths, the sledding run or at the ice rink in Scuol enjoying a spot of skating, curling or ice hockey.
In summer the mountains welcome hikers and mountain bikers, golfers and riders alike. The Swiss National Park is very close by and those who get a kick out of something a little more adventurous can do river rafting, downhill biking or go for a hang-glider tandem flight.
